USAID/Rwanda Third-Party Monitoring of Health Commodity Flows Project (2022-2026)
The purpose of this project is to support and expand existing efforts by USAID/Rwanda to monitor the flows of all USG health commodities through RMS Ltd, by focusing on the relationship with end users at service delivery and conducting a prospective, thorough, and independent process monitoring. It will draw recommendations based on identified risks or challenges during the implementation of this project, from the central warehouse to end users, which are selected district pharmacies, district hospitals, and health centers.
Also to provide visibility by sampling transactions and verifying that reported quantities balance with actual deliveries at every stage of the supply chain between the central warehouse and the end user. And engage with stakeholders to initiate further activities and involve other partners as necessary.
The main objective of this activity is to support an accountable and transparent delivery system, validate project data, and increase reliability for reporting purposes.
