USAID IREME ACTIVITY (2023-2028)
The project focuses on various aspects of the health system in Rwanda, aiming to strengthen leadership, improve financial sustainability, enhance resource allocation, and optimize the health workforce, among other goals. Monitoring and Evaluation activities are led by CIIC-HIN to assess the impact and effectiveness of the implemented strategies.
Overall Goal:
Improve overall health system resilience and provide equitable health outcomes for all Rwandans.
Specific Areas of Focus:
- Increase sustainability of public and private-sector financing.
- Improve efficiency and effectiveness of resource allocation and use.
- Enhance sustainability and effectiveness of risk pooling and strategic purchasing.
- Improve community-based health insurance (CBHI) claims management.
